Graceful Verticality
This collection is executed as daily entries, similar to the process of a diary writing or even a prayer recital. Industrially-made dot paper stickers, are one by one used to create abstract patterns on papers. The quality of something being inconspicuous – that is, present but not drawing attention to itself, or even to a certain extent, the quality of being invisible, were in mind.
The collection is an ongoing work and it began as a coping mechanism by the artist, while passing through the reality and illusion of war. It is also during this time that news and images exposed in social media began to confuse, complicate and cloud the situation. The artist views these daily entries as a practice of softening and coming closer to a state of silence.
